Ever done a mistake and found yourself guilty of doing it?
Nothing comes free to you in this dynamic world.
Having completed my 11 months in Mumbai city you cannot expect me to be a newbie here. One fine morning carrying my mundane activity I had to reluctantly push myself off the bed just to get up and rush to college, gazing at myself looking into the mirror I was done and deliberately satisfied with my face paint.
As I stepped out of my room, I had to catch train to reach college and most important thing to be done was to buy a ticket, which was a tedious job for me.
Several thoughts flickered as I was walking towards railway platform without buying a ticket, “What if the TC catch hold of me & end up emptying my pocket?
But then you always fall prey to that one fallacious thought which could be inappropriate. So, I decided to travel without a ticket.
I boarded in the train and was not supposed to wait for too long because at the very next station I had to get down. The moment I got down, I was very happy for not being caught but I had no fucking idea of what was going to happen next. I took escalator and started walking over the bridge.
The very moment, I heard someone asking a lady, “Madam ticket please.” I certainly knew it was my turn now, I thought of finding ways to escape this but unfortunately could not. The TC laid hands on me finally and I had to pretend as if I do have a ticket and look into my bag with a dilemma of knowing I don’t have one. There after a great dramatized act with a soft voice I had to concede and pay 260rs penalty for this offence. You read it right it is an ‘OFFENCE’, an act of misconduct.
Despite having had a good educated taste it was so wrong of me to be a law breaker.
The very moment I was caught red handed I found myself guilty of what I had done and without further negotiating for a fair penalty I paid 260 bucks this was not just a price, but an extravagant cost paid for life.
I always write something or express thoughts on malicious behaviour of others but this time I had to criticize my act.
